Sono Crostini
(“It’s Croutons!”)

Ingredients

About this Recipe

Stale bread (or new if you just can’t wait!)

Joe’s SuperFuzed Roasted Garlic Herb Oil

Old bread? Hate to waste? LOVE GOOD FOOD? Make croutons! I was inspired to put the half-loaf of Sourdough Bread to good use. It was past its prime. Solution? A jar of Joe’s plus old bread! Trust me. If you don’t hide these little cubes from view, you’ll be munching all day long. They are that good.

Directions

Cut or rip bread into ½ cubes. Throw into a big bowl. Stir your Joe’s Oil and drizzle all over the bowl sides and bread. No, I didn’t forget to specify amounts. It all depends on how much bread you have…a little or a lot. You want to lightly coat the cubes so toss well. If you need more Oil, drizzle and toss some more. Turn cubes onto a parchment lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes, turning cubes every 5 minutes until golden brown…toasted on the outside with a little chew in the middle. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to a week (ah…they won’t last that long…not on my counter anyway!). Sgranocchiare!! (“Munch!!”)
